lafayette at bingham judge armstrong the bailiffs and court attaches connected with judge armstrong court will go to bingham today to continue to take testimony in the trial of four lans who are charged with attempted murder the austrians Aust rians are being held tor the attempted murder of deputy sheriff chidester Chlde ster who was shot in a riot of the austrian residents of the camp he has not recovered sufficiently to attend court so that court will be held at the deput ys home because of the opposition of the de tensa to george acting as a s interpreter judge armstrong excused him yesterday another interpreter arrived from ogden in the afternoon the case will not be finished for several days following the finish of the case the lans will again be tried on another charge during the melee which took place on march 24 last martin ls was killed frank deric who is charged with killing the man has jumped his bonds and is now out of the jurisdiction of the court the men now on parties and all our social functions there it Is like the life at a garrison STATE FAIR AFFAIRS report Is made by the secretary of the deseret Agricultural and manufacturing society in charge of the forthcoming state fair that the entries tor live stock and poultry exhibits are coming in rapidly and that there s a big demand tor space up to this time the entries are much larger in all departments part ments than in other years harry curtis the manager of races has his pro gramme in print and will have them ready for the public the latter part of this week he says he has a derby arranged for on a charge of conducting an establishment the sanitary condition of which and the practices in which do not conform to the standard required by the board the hearing will probably continue through
