Show PARENTS OF SUICIDE HAVE BEEN INFORMED Provo. July IS J. A Mahan and Mrs J. L- Thomas, father and mothpr of James Mahan, who committed suicide sui-cide here Sunday, have been found." The father Is in Ontario, Cal., and the mother in Skull Valley. Ariz This news was conveyed to Sheriff George Judd late last night In a telegram from James Butler, secretary of the Moose lodge at Cripple Creek Another Anoth-er telegram informed the sheriff that young Mahan was in good standing In the lodge, but that there was a suicide su-icide clause against benefits in case of self-destruction Another telegram was received at the sheriff's office yesterday from Mrs J. L Thomas, requesting that the body be buried at Cripple Creek, but this telegram was addressed to James But-ler. But-ler. secretary. Deputy Sheriff F. Bac-i-man is of the opinion that Mrs. Thomas Thom-as wired the sheriff here to ship the body to Cripple Creek and at the same time sent auother wire to James Butler at Cripple Creek and that the two telegrams were sent to the wron addresses John Sharp, who was shot in the abdomen ab-domen by young Mahan, Js resting comfortably at the Provo General hospital, hos-pital, with no material change in his condition. He had a good night's rest. |
