Show THE ROOSEVELT PRIMARIES IN UTAH. The Herald-Republican, in the flippant style of a know-all, al- ' leinpts to poke fun at the Roosevelt men in Utah, because the call for the meeting, at which the preliminary organization of the party'iu Qtah is to be considered, does not provide for a primary selection of delegates to that gathering. The meeting is virtually open to all Roosevelt men of Utah. Later a regular primary will be called. This method of procedure in no manner conflicts with the Roosevelt demand for a free expression ex-pression from the people. There is no attempt being made to, move contrary to the will of the Progressives of the state. "Wlien the Roosevelt men themselves make complaint, will be time enough for j the Herald-Republican to burden itself with the double duty of assuming as-suming responsibility for the acts of the Progressives, as well as its own reactionaries. |
