Adam Bede of Minnesota Is trailing Colonel Roosevelt and making speeches for i the Republican national committee, I paused in his address last night long enough to lead from the platform Meyer Llssner, chairman of the California Cal-ifornia Republican state central committee, com-mittee, and head of Its Progressive organization. Harlan was interrupted, hooted and hissed repeatedly in the course of his speech by a band of Progressives. j among whom were ijssnor and Francis Fran-cis J. Henev.
