The projierty was tpurchaaed for $400, but the special fund was short $250 when the time (came for settlement on the purchase. The action of the board was urged by Commissioner J. C Nye. The board appropriated $150 to pay My W. J. Critchlow for property needed Hj in the opening of Twenty-ninth street. H ' The appropriation was made at the H rugcetion of Commissioner Nye.
