Moran for patching aud paving on the streets of the city, amounting to $3,298 90. was allowed and tho auditor audi-tor was instructed to draw a warrant Mayor Fell reported that he had investigated the matter of extending water mains on West Seventeenth streets, to and Including the Glasgow addition, and had concluded that It would not pay to mako the extension. Ho said that It would cost $5,135 to build tho mains nnd the rovenue would be small Tho mayor recommended recom-mended that the petition for the extension ex-tension be denied and it was so ordered. or-dered.
