Show WILL DEMONSTRATE MUSICAL INVENTION Salt Lake, Sept 10 Leo S. Roberts of Chicago, who is at the Hotel Utah, has Installed In his apartmonts what Is claimed to be tho most remarkable advance mado In musical science in tho past decade. The device Is the Melville Clnrk electric recorder for reproducing music played by hand on the piano so that It-may be used on music, rolls and played on player piano. During his stay hero Mr. Roberts has arranged to record tho playing of several local artists. Tho first records rec-ords will be mado this morning and all will later be reproduced in public recitals. This will be the first time local musicians have played for piano records and considerable interest Is being manifested. To night and tomorrow night In the concert hall of the Consolidated Music company a recital will be given by Mr Roberts, in which he will use the "Solo" Apollo, also ,.a now invention of Melville Clark. A feature of tho program will be a duet, with Mr. Roberts Rob-erts playing one part and the Apollo the other. Assisting In the recital will be George E.
