Show ICOVOTES KILL Lffi TROUT Salt Lake. March 30 Julian Riley, deputy United States marshal, returned re-turned yesterday from Wayne county, whero ho went to serve summonses for tho foderal grand jury which will meet In this city a week frm next Monday. Mr. RJlev said yesterday that of all the trips he had mado as dep- i iuy marshal the one just completed was tbe most disagreeable, because of tho Inclement condition of the roads In that district, Mr. Riley also said that hundreds ' of big lake trout are being killed by ' coyotes In the streams running into Fish Lak The large fish are leaving leav-ing the lake and running up the small streams to spawa and go in such numbers that the coyotes have no difficulty dif-ficulty In catching great numbers of them. It is suggested by manv In "Wayne- county that tho state would profit by stationing men near the streams to kill the coyotes. |
