Tho voting followed tho discharge by tho miners because, it was alleged al-leged by the men, they had shown pronounced Socialistic activity. Tho mineB, which were closed while the voting was going on , Thursday, opened Friday morning. Tho result is generally popular with the miners and the people of Butte. There were no serious disorders. Charges that Illegal votes wero cast at tho primary of the Butte miners union No. 1 of the Western Federation of Miners, held last Tuesday, were mado tonight, and an Investigation will bo mado at a meeting of the union next Tuesday. It Is charged that the radicals those opposed to the election of Chns.
