He states that tho piob-pocts piob-pocts for the fair are promising and that if the people of the four states, Utah in particular, give their moral support, as well as taking 'an interest in making the best exhibits that they can furnish, the fair will be the best yet given by the association. When asked If it 1? true mat tho association has more monoy than it knows what to do with, the doctor said he thought tho report was a little bit exaggerated and that he thought the fair would need all the support that could be given, financially and otherwise. Contracts are being made each day with parties to furnish attractions for the ontlro time of tho fair, ono having been Just closed with a noted aviator to navigate the air at the grounds. Dr. Rowe says he has arranged ar-ranged to have a few men thrown out of tho ship while it Is in midair, provided a commltteo Is appointed to select some of the "knockers" to he usod In the -exhibition. Mr. Rowe says: -Mr. Charles F. Wnlsh, the world renowned nvlator, will drive the machine. ma-chine. Mr. Walsh has cnrrlod more passengers than any other aviator living. Special arrangements hnvo been mado with him to carry somo of tho most prominent people In the city, some of whom he Is expected to throw out of the machine when up In the air two or three thousand feet, but when necessary he can carry passengers pas-sengers safely. The machine, he will use will bo tho celebrated Curtiss biplane. bi-plane. The management has contracted contract-ed for this feature during the whole fair and two or more flights will be made dally.
