Show 1JU EDWARD E. TETER STRUCK BY TRAIN Salt Lake, July 21. The wagon of Edward E. Teter, an expressman, about 50 years old, residing at 33n Flossie avenue, was struck by the Los Angeles limited on the Salt Lake Route at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon and Teter was painfully hurt His head was cut and his right shoulder badly wrenched. He was taken to the emergency hospital in the auto patrol, pa-trol, where his injuries were attended attend-ed by Dr. R. W. Ashley, after which he was taken home in the ambulance. Teter was driving his express wagon wag-on across the track on Tenth South between Second and Third West streets when the train came along. Section men working near state that the whistle was blown but Teter evidently evi-dently did not hear it and the engine struck the rear wheel of his wagon, tearing It to pieces and hurling him to the ground with c great deal of force. The horse was lajured but not seriously. |
