Show 00 CHECKING CHOLERA More Ships to Arrive From the Ports of Italy New York, July 21. Tho federal and state physicians and bacteriologists bacteriol-ogists down the harbor, guarding the country from a threatened invasion of cholera, were encouraged today by the fact that no cases of the disease have been found thus far among the latest arrivals from Italy. Twenty-four hours have elapsed since the steamer Principe DI Plemont from Genoa and Naples, entered -and no further developments of the disease dis-ease has appeared. In preparation for two more ships soon to arrive from the Medlteranean, Health Officer Doty Is increasing his force of experts, for, under the latest government order, every arrival from Italy must undergo bacteriological examination ex-amination Dr. Doty today denied charges made at the state investigation of his administration ad-ministration that he had failed to report re-port cases of cholera when they first appeared here.
