Geraghty and his heiress brido appeared in happy frame of mind today at tho house of Geraghty's cousin, where tho elopers were discovered dis-covered last night MrB. Geraghty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Tuck French, society leaders of Tuxedo, N. Y said no one could part her and her husband, whoso father Is a livery Btablo proprietor. "I love my husband; of courso I lovo Jack," said she, "and whatever my parents or relatives may do to break our happiness 'will prove unsuccessful. un-successful. I am very fond of my husband and love him truly. You may say that, and I guesB that Is all for now." Neither will say what their plans wore, although it was Indicated at the house where they are stopping, that they intend to make It tholr headquarters for tho present and go on a tour of the Berkshire hills in tho meantime No reprosontatlve of the family of Mrs Geraghty, or no dotcctlve or officer appeared during the day to disturb the quiet which the eloping couple aro enjoying. Mr. Geraghty talked' over the long distance tolephone with his son, who was at the home of a cousin, Mrs. Joseph Harris, in Springfield. Mass Mr. Geraghty would not-tell the nature na-ture of his talk or tho contents of tho letter, but said the couple had plenty of money and contemplated a honeymoon trip to Nova Scotia He does not expect his Bon home for Home time. The parests of tho bride, Mr and Mrs. Amos Tuclt French, left today for their home in Tuxedo They would say nothing for publication in regard to tho elopement. It was learned from friends, howover, that thev had decided to make no attempt at 'interfering with the bride and groom. The young Mrs. Geraghty was 18 years old last spring and therefore there-fore of legal ago to marry whether her parents consented or not.
