Rodinal is the name of a new developer for which a patent has been applied iu Germany by Dr. M. Andresen. It is sai.l to be a concentrated solution of para-imii dophenol hydrachlorate. A great advance has been made iu astronomical astro-nomical photography. .Nebula invisible to the human eye have beep separated, and many thousand spectrum photographs of single stars have been lafede. Orbits of comets have been described by photo graphic means. Photographing human hair is the latest use for the camera. It is claimed thr.t human hairs have a marked individuality, and that with a microscope and camera a photograph was gained which led to the -discovery of a murderer in Germany. The individuality of hairs alone brought about his conviction. |
