Show TAG DAY FOR THE RKD CROSS WORK Yesterday, was "Tag Day" for the L. D. S. Primary for the benefit of the local Red Cross, and the children from four to fourteen years of age certainly were hustlers, and especially especial-ly those about eight or nine years bid. ' They held up people on the streets, and some even went to the homes, and they usually got what they wanted, which was ten cents for a tag. Up to noon today $36.85 had been turned in , and it is estimated there is still about ten dollars out, as several sev-eral children did not understand they were to report until next Monday, Mon-day, the regular meeting day. Mrs. Julia Smithson, secretary of the Red Cross chapter, volunteered to help and she turned in $6.30. Among the girls who deserve especial mention are Elva McEwen, age nine years, who turned in $5.90, and Leah Smith, aged eight years, who sold $3.40 worth of tags. The primary and the teachers of that department wish to thank all who bought tags and helped the children, chil-dren, and assure them that this amount will be doubled in value by the time it reaches our soldiers.
