FOURTH CLEAN-UP DAY Whereas, The Health Board of the Town of Mil- j ; ford has recommended in order to insure the health j I of this community against the spread of disease I I caused directly or indirectly through the accumula- j tion of garbage and filth, and j Whereas, the high reputation of the Town of j Milford is endangered by the unsanitary conditions J of our streets and alleys and in many cases private I property, I f I, R. H. Pitchforth, President of The Town f i Board of Milford, hereby declare Tuesday, Decern- j ber 4, 1917, a general Clean-up Day, and order all business houses closed from 9 a. m. until 4 p. m. upon j this day, and request all citizens, whether property owners or renters, to clean up their occupied or un- j I occupied premises, also streets and alley ways ad- ! joining.
