Show STATE FAIR TOMORROW BIG EXHIBIT WILL SURPASS ALL PREVIOUS EFFORTS. With flags flying, Salt Lake's streets gaily decorated and the Fair grounds a mass of color and life, Utah's 3Sth annual State Fair is ready for its formal opening at 10 o'clock Saturday morning of this week, September 30. Utah has never known a greater or more attractive annual Fair, is the concensus of opinion among all who have visited the Fair grounds in Salt Lake during the past few days. Every building and every department depart-ment is filled to overflowing with the most magnificent collection of exhibits ex-hibits ever gathered in the state. The railroads have granted reduced re-duced rates and the attendance of 150.000 is expected at this year's State Fair which opens Saturday of this week and runs through Saturday, Satur-day, October 7. The most sensational sensa-tional amusements ever secured for a State Fair will be seen in Salt Lake this year. Louis Gertson, the famous aviator will drive his great biplane every afternoon and evening high above the Fair grounds and loop the loop four consecutive times. Auto polo, the most sensational and daring dar-ing sport in the world will be played every afternoon in front of the grand stand, following the horse races. Scores of free attractions have been provided in addition to the great Midway with its water circus, trained wild animal circus, dog and pony show and other attractions. |
