Show TOOTH PICKS WITH MEAT. Mr. Porcupine Gets His. The cloudbursts in the mountains, last Friday, extended, apparently, from Minersville,: on the south, to eight or ten miles to the north of. Milford. Mrs. Claude E. Hunt, who resides seven or eight miles north of this city, was a caller at the News office, Monday, and reports heavy washouts in her neighborhood. On Saturday, Mr. Hunt shot a porcupine which had, evidently been driven down from the higher ground by the rush of water. These animals are not very often seen in the valley and Mr. Hunt is quite proud of himself. A week ago, Mrs. Hunt shot and killed a coyote which has been getting get-ting too familiar at the ranch, killing kill-ing the animal at the first shot. |
