Show MALOXE MISCELLANY. Interesting News Budget From Our Neighbor on the North. Last Thursday night Mrs. P. E. Singleton left for Salt Lake to take care of her daughter, Mrs. Hayward, who has been very ill. Reports just received state that she is much better. bet-ter. Several of the Malone boys left for Filmore, Wednesday, where they will play several games of ball at the county fair. Frank Singleton and sister, Miss Singleton left Wednesday for Elsi-nore, Elsi-nore, where they will spend the winter win-ter months. Mrs. Rose Callahan accompanied ac-companied them and will remain a couple of weeks in Elsinore and Salt Lake, before leaving for California to spend the winter. The Malone Sunday school will give an ice cream social and treat, Tuesday evening, .October 3. The dog poisoner has been at work in Malone, for the past two weeks, much to the wrath of the owners of canine victims. Several houses have been broken into lately, and various articles have been stolen, evidently the work of hoboes. J. M. Woodhouse, who has been in Malone for some time, left for his home in Nephi, last Saturday night. Peter Buller transacted business at Salt Lake this week. Harry Helwig and Jack McCarthy spent Saturday in Milford. J. Rupert, with four assistants, made a trip to the south of Milford, Tuesday, to bring home his hay crop before the loose stock disposed of it for him. Paul Cline has gone to Globe, Arizona, Ari-zona, where he will spend the winter. win-ter. Mrs. McCarthy will leave in about a week to visit her daughter, who resides in Orange County, California, remaining all winter. C. W. Holmes left a few days ago for Exeter, where he will remain for several months. |
