Show Completes Its Organization Home and School Jiody Selects Committees Com-mittees for All Activities. The Santa Paula Home and School Organization is a live proposition. The Executive Committee of that body, consisting of President E. H. Street, Professor Miner, Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, Mrs. Julia A. Smithson, E. H. Bird and Secretary H. F. Ken-naby, Ken-naby, met at the home of the president, presi-dent, Tuesday evening, mapped out plans for the Fall activities and prepared pre-pared a program for the next public meeting, which will be held next Thursday evening, at the High School. The following committees were selected. se-lected. Dance committee: Professor Miner, Min-er, Art Turner, Mrs. C. T. Woodbury Wood-bury and Miss Evans. Dramatic committee: Miss Mills, Professor McAllister, C. T. Woodbury Wood-bury and Mrs. Vickers. Playground committee: H. H. Pitcht'orth, Rev. S. Allison, Fred Reber, Mrs. D. A. Baxter. Lyceum committee: Mrs. Joe Tri-bole, Tri-bole, Principal Miner, Shirley Atkin, Sam Cline, T. W. Sloan, H. F. Ken-naby, Ken-naby, E. B. Jorgensen, R. S. Ramr sey. Sanitation committee: Bishop Burns, E. B. Jorgensen, Mrs. Berk-heimer. Berk-heimer. An interesting program was announced an-nounced for the general meeting, as follows: A paper, "Physical Education," Educa-tion," Mrs. Vickers; piano solo, Mrs. C. T. Woodbury; dramatic reading. Miss Mills; instrumental selection, Shirley Atkin and Miss Palmer; paper, pa-per, "Progress of the School," Principal Prin-cipal Miner. The public in general, is cordially invited to attend Thursday Thurs-day evening's meeting of the organization. |
