Show McAllister buys business gorner Real Estate ami Building Activities Will Start Early (his Spring J. W. McAllister, expert pio- neer tonsorial artist, showed his faith in the future of his home town this week by the purchase of the 25 foot front- age known as the old laundry corner at Main and Second streets. The price paid was $S5 per front foot. Mr. McAlis-.. ter also owns the corner oppo- site on Second street. The pur- chase was made from Myron Lewis who held an option on the property. Mr. Lewis informs the News that he has had a number of inquiries for lots in the sightly addition to the town of Milford on the mesa near the high school and that the prospects are bright for a considerable number of sales for residences to be built this spring. The Jefferson Mercantile Co., has had plans drawn for a splendid new store building to occupy the site of the present store at the corner of First and Main streets, as well as the vacant lots between the store and the News office-. 4 The new store will have a frontage of 135 feet on Main street and be built of either brick or concrete. Work is to commence, says Mr. Jefferson. as soon as danger o' severe freezing weather is past.
