Show RANGE BULLS NEED CARE Good care should bo taken of the young bulls that are to go out on the range this spring, announces Dr. W. E. Carroll, of the Department of Animal Husbandry, of the Utah Agricultural Ag-ricultural College. Much money has been spent by the farmers of the state to secure young pure breed bulls to turn out with their cows on the public grazing lands, in compliance com-pliance with the state law that requires re-quires one pure bull of recognized beef type to every forty breeding cows. If the most value is to be received re-ceived from these young bulls, good care must be taken of them this winter. win-ter. This means that grain should have a place in their ration. |
