Show SOCIAL AND FRATERXAL Mrs. Herbert Nichols and Miss Nina Thiessen entertained the members mem-bers of the O. E. S. Club at the home of the former Wednesday. The afternoon was enjoyed playing 5 00. The prizes were awarded to Mrs. Berkheimer and Miss Ruth Thiessen. A dainty luncheon was served. Those present were: Mesdames Ingols, Lemon. Elmer, Hunter, Berk-himer, Berk-himer, Blunt, Evans, Sloan, Adkins, Thiessen and Miss Ruth Thiessen. . The club ladies will entertain their husbands Wednesday evening at the Masonic Hall, January 17, at 8 o'clock. There will be a children's program at the L. D. S. church Friday, January Janu-ary 5 at 7:30. E. Adkin at their homo New Year's eve to members mem-bers of the W. O. N.' O. Club. After Af-ter dinner the guests enjoyed bridge until the whistles began to welcome the New Year and then every one wished the other a happy New Year. Those who enjoyed the affair were Mr. and Mrs. Street. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Elmer. Mr. and Mrs. Jorgen-' Jorgen-' sen. Mrs. Armstrong. ! ! Mr. and Mrs. Nat Stoddard were j pleasantly surprised by tbe Clever 1 Eight at their home Monday even-; even-; ing after the dance. A delicious luncheon was served. Next time 'Nat won't whisper so loud for if he docs we will he tbare again. I |
