Show ORDINANCE NO. 25. AN ORDINANCE prohibiting intoxication and providing penalties penal-ties for the violation thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF MILFORD, UTAH: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to be in a drunken or intoxicated condition upon the public streets or in a public place or any place of business within the corporate limits of the Town of Milford. Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance ordi-nance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished for a first offense of-fense by a fine of not less than $10.00 nor more than $30.00, and in default of immediate payment, to imprisonment in the town jail for not less than five days and not more that fifteen days; for a second sec-ond offense to a penalty of not less than $25.00 nor more than $50.00, and in default of immediate payment, to imprisonment in the town jail for not less than ten nor more than twenty-five days, and for a third or subsequent offense, to imprisonment in the town jail for thirty days without the option of a fine. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication. publica-tion.
