STOKER Beaver County Agent No more applications for emergency emer-gency crop and feed loans will be acrepted in the states of California, Califor-nia, Nevada, Utah and Arizona after June 15. This announcement is made by George S. Glen of Salt Lake City, regional manager of the emergency crop and feed loan section. The emergency crop and feed loans are made to farmers and livestock men who are unable to qualify with other sources of credit. Proceeds of such loans are used for the planting of crops and for the production of feed and livestock. live-stock. Their maximum size this spring has been limited to $200. Local committees assisting in administering the provisions of this credit set up have established application takers in most all agricultural agri-cultural centers. Applications may also be accepted by members of these committees. In the absence of the necessary information as to where application should be filed, farmers should communicate with county farm advisers, county agents or other leaders of agricultural agri-cultural activities. Mr. Glen states that all indications indica-tions point to the fact that spring needs will be well taken care -of before the June 15 closing date. Particular attention will be given to the closing of loans and disbursement dis-bursement of funds on all last-minuto last-minuto applications. |
