Show Petition Secures Necessary Names Thirty thousand signatures to the initiative petition to remove restrictions on advertising by dentists, den-tists, circulated under the auspicies of the People's Dental league, have been secured and are being filed with county clerks of 20 counties, according to announcement issued by Mrs. W. L. Withers, secretary. Mrs. Withers says: "Without advertising group practice off ices j cannot exist and dental prices naturally na-turally rise. This is an effort to bring good dentistry within the price reach of the average person. Under the proposed act the dentist den-tist may advertise advantages of group practice offices, but he may not advertise definite fixed prices. This would bring the Utah law in line with other western staes. "The Peoples' Dental league is in no way connected with any political poli-tical or partisan movement and will under no circumstances lend itself to any partisanship as regards re-gards national, state, county 'or municipal political movements. It is a thing apart from any other movement and will not be utilized in any other way," Mrs. Withers concludes. o |
