Show Ruminatin M Roundabout In which Ruminator proposes to dream a lot, think as little as necessary, scatter a few bouquets bou-quets while their objectives are still above the sod to enjoy hem, ami fire a hot-shot now and then while said Ruminat or can enjoy seeing the sparks fly. With no signs as yet of rejuvenation rejuve-nation of the Southwest Utah baseball base-ball league, all local baseball enthusiasm en-thusiasm may well be concentrated on the Junior league team, which is again being sponsored by the American Legion, with J. Cass Root,' prince of boys' friends, in direct charge of activities. And there could be no better time than now to show your interest in the boys and their team by doing your share (or a little more) in support of the benefit play being presented present-ed Monday night. Better get your tickets now and an extra one or two for someone some-one who would like to see this very fine comedy and haven't got the price. Muff sed ? Members of the J. J. Keough family are in receipt of a letter from Mrs. Fred Roberts of Coke-ville, Coke-ville, Wyoming, with whom they got acquainted while Mrs. Keough was confined in the L. D. S. hospital hos-pital in Salt Lake, following a major operation. Mrs. Roberts was there at the time slowly recovering recover-ing from a broken leg she suffered in an automobile accident. In. the letter Mrs. Roberts sent her best regards to the Williams family and had a few good things to say of ye editor man, Cokeville having been one of several places where we have undertaken to spill printers' ink. But this is not what Ruminator started out to say. Widow of one of the pioneer sheepmen of western Wyoming, Mrs. Roberts has devoted de-voted most of her winters of recent years to travel. But don't for one minute think she would willingly be away from her home many days after the snow leaves the ground. That is the signal for work in her garden and yards from early morning morn-ing till late evening. And nothing less than the broken leg with which she has been confined to the hospital for months could keep her from this work. As a result, her home is a beauty spot and distinctly outstanding out-standing in a community that is widely known for its well-kept homes. Here's hoping that others did what they could to keep up the good work while Mrs. Roberts impatiently awaited her release from the hospital. For impatient we'll bet she has been. And how! |
