Show BUY ARMY RIFLES j The local post of the American Legion Le-gion has decided to act as purchasing agent of obsolete army rifles for as many of its members as care to own one. The rifles, which will be shipped ship-ped from the arsenal at Rock Island, Illinois, are the Krag-Jorgenson, calibre cali-bre 30, model 1898. The total cost of each, including belt, bayonet, and scabbard, is $3.30, excluisev of packing pack-ing and shipping charges. Blank am munition can be secured at three dollars per hundred rounds. All members of the Legion who wish to have one of these rifles are urged to give their name and enough money to cover purchase price, to I Tom Johansen, at once. |
