Show BEAVER BRIEFS Mrs. Nancy Burt and daughter, Stella, were called to Cedar City Fri day on account of the serious illness of their daughter and sister, Mrs. Susie Walker. They left her Saturday Satur-day evening at the Cedar hospital resting and feeling much better. Duke Bowman has returned from Los Angeles, on a vacation, after being be-ing away for 18 months. He is spending part of it in Beaver mountains moun-tains on a fishing trip. Betty and John Williams, children of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Williams, of Los Angeles, are here to spend the summer with their grandmother, Mrs. D. D. Williams. j Mrs. Edith Woolsey had as her dinner guest Monday evening her; neice, Mrs. Virginia Cowdell, from Los Angeles. Mrs. Anna Vincent and daughter Mrs. Celia Clossun, spent Saturday at Kanosh visiting with her granddaughter. granddaugh-ter. Mrs. Eva Fennimore. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Thompson spent the week-end at the Telluride with their children, Mir. and Mrs. Ben Dewey. Mrs. Mary Boyter, of Salt Lake, is spending her vacation with, her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Joe Beaumont. Mr. M. Hall, State Secretary of Libraries for the State of Utah, visited visit-ed Thursday at the Beaver County Library. He stated that he found every thing in a good condition and the library to be clean and very inviting invit-ing to the public for the summer months. He stated that he would ! make another visit tq all libraries in our county in early October. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Robinson, Mrs. 0. A. Murdock and County Road Superintendent James E. Robinson, has gone to Caliente to visit with their brothers, Heber and Frank Robinson, Rob-inson, Jr., several weeks. Mrs. John M. Murdock is at Paro-wan Paro-wan visiting her daughter, Mrs. 0. Adams. Mrs. Clyde Messenger and children have returned from California, where they spent the last 16 months. Mr. ' Messenger will follow in the very . near future. . i Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morris of Mjl-ford, Mjl-ford, spent Thursday in Beaver visiting visit-ing his falher, Andrew Morris, and other relatives. Mrs. Ada Frazer and children os Los Angeles, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Jean Hales, and other relatives rela-tives for a few weeks' vacation. |
