Even a spooulul of oatmeal ur other food If saved and added to gems,' muflin.s griddle cakes and omelets, will Increase the food value as well as the palatability of tbeui. 1'our cold w;iter into the cereal disli and after soaking scrape and drain Into a sieve. Two or three tablespoon fills are thus saved for food. When there are leftovers of small amounts the following dishes are suggested: Cereal Souffle. To one cupful ot thick white sauce add one-half cupful of cooked left-over cereal. Beat well unci add the beaten yolks of two eggs, one-half teaspoonful of salt, a dasli or two of cayenne pepper and one-hall cupful or more of any preferred meal Hnel.v minced,- such as hum, cheese, mushrooms or sweet pepper.
