Show MILFORD MEN ON MEET COMMITTEES BARNES AND BAILEY NAMED TO WORK FOR L. A. & S. L. MEET The directors -in charge of the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Unit Meet, which will be held in Los Angeles An-geles on July 22, have named committees com-mittees for the various departments of work connected with the meet. Milford men who have been selected select-ed to handle various details for the success of the meet are W. C. Barnes, who is Chairman of the Rifle Shooting Shoot-ing Committee and C. A. Bailey, who is a member of the Executive Committee. Com-mittee. A bulletin has been issued giving the events and rules governing same, which is too lengthy for publication here. In stating why the selection of Los Angeles was made, the bulle;-in bulle;-in says among other things that: . 'Milford was also considered, bui the civic organizations at that point together with the Athletic Club decided de-cided that they did not care to bid on the meet this year, preferring to, wait until 1929, at which time they will make a strong bid for the meet.' |
