Show Hinckley Happenings. Richard Cropper has just opened open-ed his new butcher shop. Prof. Gilbertson of Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, assistant in charge of county Agriculture agency work, was visiting with county agent Welsh. He was highly delighted delight-ed with the agricultural work that is being done in this county and said it was above the average aver-age of all agent work done in the western states. Prof. Wm. Peterson, the geologist geolo-gist of the A. C, will spend the later part of this week with County agent, Welsh. They will make a study of the artesian well district in eastern Millard ; Co. Mr. and Mrs. Welsh have just returned from their vacation in Panguitch, where they have been visiting with Mrs. Welsh's parents. Mrs. Rachel Cox has returned from her home visit in Dixie. '. The prospects for alfalfa seed have never been excelled. The , anxious farmer is holding his , breath for fear Jack Frost will ' make his visit. i Mrs. Clara Stewart has : been taken to Salt Lake to undergo a ; thorough examination. She has t not been well since last winter. We hope that nothing of a ser- ious nature affects her. f . A few words must be said in t regards to the week's vacation that was held in the Oak Creek Canyon resort. It was a delight- ful suceess. Large crowds gathered at the meetings in the day and around the camp fire at night to hear the talented speak- ers, singers, elocutionists and ' musicians. Those who were not there certainly missed a rare treat. The committee, Prof. McClel- lan, George Finlinson and Mrs. ! Riding, proved their ability ir y the management of such a wel organized outing.
