Show Affairs of Oasis Mrs. C. F. Dillenbeck of Michigan, Mich-igan, is here visiting with her sons, Charley and Frank Dellen-beck, Dellen-beck, also their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Huff and their son, Stanford, motored to Salt Lake last Sunday morning and from there to Ogden canyon, returning re-turning the last of the week. Miss Clara Thompson and Clark Huff accompanied them. All report re-port having an enjoyable time. Mrs. Edmund Williams left for Salt Lake last Wednesday morning to visit with her daughter, daugh-ter, Ada. The reception of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Hansen, took place Wed- 1 nesday evening Aug 23. Over 65 friends and relatives were i present. The rooms were decorated decor-ated with white chrysanthemums and wedding bells. Those colors were also carried out in the table decorations. Every one reported having a delightful time. Any one interested in good roads should take a joy ride from Holden to Mud Lake. Claud and Earl Huff were seen on our streets the last week. Wilford Pierson, brother of C. O. W. Pierson, will return to his home in Sandy, Utah, the last of this week. The Oasis Threshing machine is busy threshing grain for different dif-ferent parties. Mrs. Wm. Huff gave a lawn party in honor of Miss Sommers Thompson, and her son Stanford. 30 guests were present. The lawn was decorated with Jap. lanterns and umbrellas. Re-I Re-I freshments were served to all. Mrs. Claud Huff is visiting with her mother-in-law, Mrs. - T. Huff. Mrs. W. H. Morgan has gone ; east to visit with relatives there. ; Mr. Morgan followed in his car, ' but we havn't learned if he has t arrived yet or not. |
