Show Holden Happenings The busy hum of a thresher is again heard in town. Mr. B. H. Crosland has returned return-ed from an extended visit with her parents in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Crosland are home from Marysvale where Mr. Crosland has been working. Mr. Elbert Stephenson has received re-ceived a call for a mission to Holland and will leave the last of September. Miss Lula Johnson has been at Sutherland the past two weeks caring for her sister, Mrs. Huntsman, Hunts-man, who had tonsilitis. Miss Johnson returned Friday, bringing bring-ing her sister with her. Bishop A. Y. Stephenson and wife, and Orzel Hunter, spent most of the week in Oak City canyon. They report haying a very pleasant time. Attorney Higgins and Supt. Hammond were speakers at Sunday Sun-day services. Their splendid addresses were very much appreciated ap-preciated and we extend to them an invitation to visit us whenever when-ever circumstances permit. Edward Bennett has a fine melon patch and is continually serving to customers the most delicious melons raised in the county. Violet Memmott has gone to Deseret to visit friends. Two of the Bee Hive Swarms will spend Friday at the mill in Maple Hollow. |
