Show 01 PeMatial Onieiait The members of the Kountry Katies Club surprised Miss Rosa-beth Rosa-beth Nickle at a party Saturlay I evening. Members of the club pres-f4 pres-f4 besides Miss Nickle included (Tvetta Nickle, Myrna Turner, Nellie Nel-lie Stanworth, Dora Walker, Beu-, Beu-, lah Rowley La Ree Davis and Beth Iolman. Guests present were Janet Judd, LaRue Nickle, Norma Skeem, and Mrs. L. N. Nickle. Beulah Rowley Row-ley held high score and Dora Walker Wal-ker the low score. Norma Skeem received the high guest prize. There was .03 precipitation on the 25th, and .12 on the 1st; coldest cold-est day of last week was 8 above. M-S Sherman Little left Delta on Sunday for Oakland where they Will visit M-S Dee Smith. Roy Bendixon came to Delta last week, slightly injured. He had been caught in a cave-in in the mine he was working at and his foot and knee injured, necessitating a pair of crutches. Ren Sampson and Mrs. Boyd Sampson and two sons, came to Delta Saturday from Tod Park at Tooele. .. Mrs. Scot Chesley left Delta on Monday for San Francisco, where she will visit with her brother and sister in law, Petty Officer lc and Mrs. Daryl Pearnson. Miss Rosabeth Nickle spent from Wednesday last week until Monday Mon-day visiting with her parents, M-S L. N. Nickle. Mrs. Del Searle is now home after af-ter spending 6 weeks in Salt Lake City for medical treatment for severe se-vere burns she recievd last summer. sum-mer. She is much improved. Ward and Don Savage came up from Antimony Tuesday and took their mother, Mrs. Clara Savage to the hospital in Richfield Thursday. Mrs. Savage has been ill several weeks while in Delta. Mrs. Richard Peterson, whose husband hus-band is a 1st Lt. in the Marine Air Corps, and Mrs. Bob Connley of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests gue-sts of M-S Noble G. Peterson. |
