Show Ojf Perianal 9nte?ielt Mrs. Margaret Callister returned to Delta this week, after spending a visit of six weeks in Orem and Heber. M-S William S. Bassett and their 2 ' children returned to Delta Sunday ' after a visit of a week in Logan. Reed Bonn, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bohn is now rapidly recovering re-covering from the accident he was in on July 3 in Fillmore, when the horse he was riding fell and dragged drag-ged him. Reed was unconscious for two and one half weeks following the fall, but is now up and around. Mrs. E. L. Moody spent Sunday in Payson to see Mr. Moody, who is still taking treatment in the hospital hos-pital there, feeling some improvement improve-ment in his condition. Mrs. George Chambers, nee El-oise El-oise Law, and her young son, Michael, Mi-chael, are in Delta for a visit with her parents, M-S W, Legrande Law. Mrs. Chambers has been in Kansas with her husband. Lt. Chambers, who is now overseas. She and the babymade the trip home by plane to Salt Lake City and then by train to Delta. A correction Mrs. Ruth W. Leav-itt Leav-itt and her son, Allen left Delta a week ago to join her husband, Rowell Leavitt, U. S. N in Portland, Port-land, Maine, instead of Oregon, as was published. She had been here with her parents, M-S M. H. Workman. Work-man. Maiben Stephenson spent several days in Delta this past week, on his way to Cedar City. Mrs. June Smith has returned to Delta after a visit in Myton with her sister, Mrs. Serelda Crapo. M-S Wilford Warnick were the guests on Sunday at a dinner given by Mrs. Blanch Works. Misses Helen and Emma Jean Pratt returned home Tuesday after a visit of two weeks in Prove M-S Fred Warnick and three sons of Provo, visited in Delta this week at the home of M-S Will Warnick. Mrs. Ianthus Parker and Mrs. Beth Peterson went to Salt Lake City on Monday where Mrs. Parker will attend. at-tend. Market Week. M-S William J. Starley went to Salt Lake City this veek to attend Market Week there. M-S Dudley Crafts, son, David, M-S Frank S. Beckwith, daughter, Susan, and Miss Jessie Lynn Cook spent the weekend at Fish Lake. M-S John Day and M-S Brown San-ford San-ford spent a few days at Fish Lake this past week. M-S Van Bishop entertained at a family outdoors party at their home on Tuesday night, for T.Sgt. Willard Stephenson, who has been here on furlough, and will leave this week. Guests were T.Sgt. and Mrs. Willard Stephenson, their father A. E. Stephenson, and William Will-iam Bishop. Ordyth Bates of Logan, and Jen-eal Jen-eal Moody, U of U, spent the weekend week-end in Delta with Miss Moody's I parents, M-S M. Ward Moody. |
