Show ON HIS WAY HOME AFTER THREE YEARS IN PACIFIC Mrs. Delia Hatton received a telephone tele-phone call from her husband, Pfc. Harvard Hatton, who has been in the Pacific theater of war for the past three years. He has arrived in San Francisco and is on his way home. Robert Taylor F 1c, is in the A. R. S. Auxiliary Rescue and Salvage division in the west Pacific. He is head engineer of one of the engines and the temperature is 140 in the engine room. One day on sea they picked up a life raft, all the food was gone and it had a puncture but no one was in it. It's still a mystery. Their divers are equipped to dive 600 feet. He has been gone 14 months and has a little son a year old whom he has never seen. Garn A. Anderson S 1c, Navy armed Guard, returned to his ship in San Francisco after a short leave at home. j |
