Show DESERET Arprilla Scow Beth Moody was hostess to the , Deseret rook club Wednesday evening. eve-ning. A luncheon was served after which rook was enjoyed by Evelyn Cropper, Luella Western, Carole Warnick, Lucille Sampson, Arprilla Scow, Lillian Pippin, Eleanor Bishop Bish-op and Beth Moody. High score was held by Evelyn Cropper, second by Eleanor Bishop Bish-op and low by Lillian Pippin. Mrs. J. A. Scow is visiting at the home of his son Milden H. Scow. M-S Henry Dewsnup, Mrs. O. L. Dutson, and Gary and June Dui-son Dui-son visited Sunday at Fillmore with M-S Wm. B. Mace and family. Mrs. Norma Hansen and daughter daugh-ter are visiting with her parents, M-S Elmer Dewsnup. A farewell party was held at the Deseret ward hall Tuesday evening in honor of Stanley Dewsnup who is leaving in the near future for the U. S. Navy. A fine program and dance was enjoyed by a large crowd. M-S Robert Torrance, Jr. and fam-ily fam-ily from Vancouver, Wash., are visiting vis-iting at the home of Mrs. Zada Dewsnup. Mrs. J. M. Webb is in Salt Lake City visiting with M-S Dave Mof-fitt. Mof-fitt. Frank Davis from Fillmore visited visit-ed last week with M-S E. J. Elia-son Elia-son and family. Mrs. Nina Crafts from Ruth, .Nev. is spending a week with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Zada Dewsnup. The B. K. club met Thurs'day at the home of Mrs. Zella Moody. A lovely luncheon was served to the following guests; Lois Elia-son, Elia-son, Mollie Dewsnup, Ava Bennett, Arleen Bennett, Vilate Maxfield Myrtle Bennett, Stella Black, Josephine Jo-sephine Cahoon and Zella Moody. M-S Blaine Cropper from Deseret and M-S Piatt Allred from Fillmore spent several days at Nevada this week. |
