Show i HUSBAND IN BRAZIL Eloise Chambers has received word from her husband, Lt. Bud Chambers, that he has arrived in Brazil for assignment with the Army Ar-my Airways Communication System. Syst-em. She flew here recently from Wichita Falls, Texas, with her son, Michael, and they will remain here with M-S W. L. Law until they can join Lt. Chambers in South America. Guy Turner WT 2c and his wife the former Rose Ann Sampson, are in Delta this week on a short leave. Mrs. Turner has been with Guy on the east coast for several months, and will remain in Delta when he returns. Guy has been on a destroyer des-troyer escort duty in the Atlantic, and will now go to the Pacific. He and his wife, and M-S Ivo Ogden drove to Wayne county this week, for a short visit with his father, Ernest Turner. Guy wishes to say hello to all the friends he was unable un-able to see this time, and asks them to write to him, he would enjoy en-joy the letters. His wife will give them the address. Arvin Barney, Marvin Ogden, Clair Anderson and Daryel Christensen went to Ft. Douglas last week for their physical. Pfc. Lawrence Hilton has completed com-pleted his schooling at the Douglas Aircraft School at Santa Monica, and has been transferred to Charleston, Charle-ston, S. C. |
