Show Wounded in Action In Philippines Wounded in action with the 25th Infantry (Tropic Lightning) Division Divis-ion on Luzon, S Sgt David R. Bo-shard, Bo-shard, son of Mrs. Willmipth Bo-shard, Bo-shard, 1145 Oneonta Drive, Los Angeles, An-geles, Cal., and husband of the former for-mer Marjorie Holman, Delta, tUah, has been awarded the Purple Heart and is now back in action with the veteran unit. A machine gunner with the 161st Regiment and veteran of one and one-half years overseas service, Sgt Boshard has been in action on Luzon Lu-zon since the Lingayen Gulf landing in January, participating in the battles on the Central Plains and the fighting for Balete Pass and Sants Fe on northern Luzon. Sgt Boshard attended Delta high school and belonged to the football and track teams of that school. Sgt Boshard also held the quarter mile track record at Brigham Young Invitational In-vitational Track and Field meet, and was employed by the Remington Reming-ton Arms Co., Inc., Salt Lake City, before entering the Army June 4, 1943.
