Show OAK CITY o . . At MIA services Tuesday evening Mrs. I.eGrand Noble gave a book p-view which was very interesting. Miss Ramoiia Finlinson and Junior Jun-ior Anderson played a piano and saxophone duel, "Under the Double Eagle" which was enjoyed. Dale Johnson visited and played his accordion ac-cordion for the group. Mr. and Mrs. Maihen Jacobson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Olsen of Erigham visited in Oak City the past week. Miss Phyllis Nielson went to 1 California to visit friends stationed ' at Kan Diego, Altrusa, and etc. Mrs. Gordon G. Howes formerly ' Miss Thelma Nielson, of Oak City received as winner, a bond for sug-' sug-' gesting "new procedure for issuance issu-ance of parking passes to the physically phy-sically handicapped." Mrs. Howes is employed in the instrument repair department at Hill Field, Utah. I'he MIA are working on a 3- act play which will be put on in ' the near future. 1 Mrs. Parley Elder was released 1 from the Ut,',h Valley Hospital and ' is at Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Mer- - rill Oelson. She will be welcomed home by her many friends. Mrs. Eastern Swensen and chil- - dren are living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Shipley at this writing. |
