Show Canning Sugar If you're planning on some early canning, you can make applications applica-tions for your sugar sometime in May at the lecal war price and rationing ra-tioning board. Fruits will be on the Utah markets about that time. Maximum sugar allotment will lie 20 pounds per person. In order to make it unnecessary to send ration books through the mail, you attach at-tach spare stamp No. 37, Book IV, and list names of persons for whom sugar is requested, numbers of pounds needed in units of five pounds. Mrs. Fred Jewkes has moved to Delta from Fillmore and is living in the Lyman Row. annual officers' election for the coming year last Thursday and Friday Fri-day at the Delta High school. The candidates were nominated by the Senior chapter officers and were selected on the basis of their ability abil-ity to serve the chapter and the community. The results were as follows: President, Reece Finlinson; Vice-pres., Grant Nielson; Treasurer, Treas-urer, Richard Finlinson; Secretary, Robert Nielson; Reporter, Rey Knight and Sentinel, Robert Ashby. Outgoing president Eugene San-ford San-ford and the new president Reece Finlinson will represent the chapter chap-ter at the Utah State FFA convention conven-tion which -will be held in Logan at the USAC next Friday and Saturday.
