This new program, known as a "World of Work," is de-signed de-signed to help develop an awareness and understanding in and among students of the world of work those occupations occu-pations In which parents, friends and neighbors are In volved. . Each unit of work will have a definite set of objectives and goals and will involve the development of such skills as research, reading, interviewing, interview-ing, objectivity , in thinking, and reporting J on ,. research - findings. - - v-Research v-Research people will be in-vited in-vited into the classroom to impart information about their occupations and demonstrate demon-strate some of their skills necessary ne-cessary for success in their work. Students , also, will visit places of work when possible to help develop the awareness of the job situation and what it involves. |
