Show ; Junior High election now underway By Steve Day On Tuesday, Jan. 14 the Cedar Junior High Warriors stomped Lincoln in a game here. This week students at the Cedar Junior High School are participating in a campaign to elect student-body officers. Candidates presented their platforms in a special assembly Wednesday and today, Thursday, Thur-sday, voting will be completed and winners will be announced at the Election dance. Two parties have been formed, the Red and the White: Members ofd the Red ticket include: Clark Moss, president; Lori Miller, vice president; Lauri Embly, secretary; David Coles, Boy's Organization and Jan Stratton, Girls Organization. Candidates on the White ticket are: Diane Rember, president; Larry Wrebb, vice president; Susan Sherratt, secretary; Paul Bradshaw, Boys Organization and Karma Kenny, Girls Organization. Upcoming activities at the Junior High include: A basketball game against Woodward Junior High of St. George at St. George this afternoon. af-ternoon. Later this evening a concert will be presented by the Orchestra classes at the SUSC Recital Hall. The new Ski Club is planning a trip to Brianhead Thursday. Special lift prices have been j arranged. j Friday there will be a mid-year institute at Cedar High for teachers of the district and no school will be held. Saturday the CJH Warrior Wrestling team will travel to Delta for matches. |
