Show Nine area men join U S Army Army Representative Paul Hopson announced today "the Volunteer Army is receiving strong support from Southern Utah." In the months of November and December nine men have enlisted for various jobs and duty stations. They are as follows: Roddy Lee Roper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roddy Roper of Enterprise. En-terprise. Roddy put his Language Degree to use when he enlisted for Army Security Agency as a Linguist. He also chose to spend his active duty in Europe where he can use his foreign language more. Ted Little, son of Mr. and Mrs. Little of Cedar City. Ted saw his chance to handle heavy equipment. equip-ment. He will train in Armor to Bradley Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Thompson of Cedar City. He chose Airborne training. He will be stationed with the 509th Airborne Battalion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Tommy Christopher Moter of Paragonah. Tommy chose job skill training in Radio Teletype Operator. This system is used widely for messages in everyday living as well as Military. Tommy also chose Europe as his duty station. Danny Freal Robb of Paragonah. Danny has reached for the future in his job training in Helicopter Repairman. Danny also chose Fort Hood, Texas as his duty assignment. i Harold White of St. George. Harold has three years Army experience and has decided to make Army a career. He enlisted for Land Combat Support System Test Specialist. Harold also chose Fort Lewis, Wash, where he will continue his college education. Joseph Butler of Washington. Joseph selected Radio Teletype Operator and Ford Ord, Calif. Joseph will be able to continue in his studies in College there. Education benefits in the Armed Forces is bigger than ever. A college degree beats High School alone on any job application, Sgt.
