Show PARAG0NAH NEWS family came for the occasion including Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lamoreaux and children of Beryl, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mortensen and sons Russell and Gordon and Miss Leslie Mitchell of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Robin Lamoreaux and children of Orem and Miss Kathryn Benson of Salt Lake City. The group spent a pleasant evening together. Robin and his family had visited overnight Fri. in Parowan with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stubbs. The Misses Holly Robinson and Louise Davenport accompanied a group of Parowan High school students and their drama teacher to Provo and Salt Lake City for the weekend. They were to see a production at BYU. By Ililma Lamoreaux Mrs. Bertha S. Topham returned home on Wed. of last week after being away since before Christmas. Her nephew Joe Topham of Delta came to get her and she visited in Delta with the Dovle Topham family, in Kearns with the Ray Berries in Salt Lake City with her sisters, Mrs. Ada Hullinger and Mrs. Violet Squires in Springville, with a grandson, Doyle Jr. in Provo, with brother Ervin and his wife and also enjoyed an I afternoon's visit with friends in Fillmore. Doyle and Pearl brought ner DacK to Paragonah. On Fri. Ivan and his wife came from Washington to see Bertha. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Freeborn and their family are in the process of moving to Parowan after being residents of our community for almost a year and a half. Mr. Elwin Talbot and son Mark of Salt Lake City arrived here on Fri. to spend the week-end with the Renford Talbot family. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Davenport Daven-port and small daughter of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors w ith the Douglas Davenports and with the Jack Daltons in Parowan. Mrs Diane Robinson was guest of honor at a party held at the home of Mrs. Kristine Thornton on Wed. evening of last week. A large number of friends and relatives enjoyed the evening together. Mr. Robert Lamoreaux of El Centro, Calif, visited here on Fri. with his aunt Mrs. Leona Stones. He brought word of a new granddaughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Lamoreaux of Orem. Mrs. Leona J. Stones also had word of a new great grandchild, a boy born early Sat. to Jay and Susan Adams of Cedar City. Mrs. Stones went to Cedar City to spend the weekend with the Carlyle Mitchells and to see the new baby. Young Danny and Antone Stones of Parowan have been spending the week nights here with their grandmother, Mrs. Iona Stones so that she would not be alone. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Lamoreaux, Mrs. Hannah Robiason and Miss Ada Robinson traveled to Beaver at Sat. for a family gathering and dinner at the Joe Benson home in honor of Mr. Lamoreaux birthday which fell on Sun.
