" ' Keenan Hart, a senior at Cedar High School, has been nominated and selected to be honored by High School All-Americans for 1974-75. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hart, of Newcastle, the Cedar High School Athlete was excelled in track and cross country events. His selection was based on outstanding athletic ability and sportsmanship, academic ability and involvement in-volvement in extra-curricular activities. The selection committee com-mittee pointed out that less than one percent of the nation's' athletes are selected to be so honored. Keenan has an enviable record at Cedar High School and as a senior will still have an opportunity op-portunity to add to his laurels in track and field this spring. While a sophomore he captured cap-tured third in the region and 11th in state in cross country racing. In the mile, his specialty, he finished second in the region and fourth in the state. Last year as a junior he won first place in the region and second in the state in cross country and was named to the All-State Cross Country team. In the mile he finished first in the BYU Invitational, first in the region and first in the state in the time of 4.34 minutes. This past fall competing in cross country he won both region and state titles with the record breaking time of 12.55 minutes and was again named to the Cross Country All-State team. In addition the young athlete holds the school record at Cedar High for the mile and cross country and holds the cross country record in three different courses. WIN'S NATIONAL HONORS.
