Show Retired Officers Club slates meet January 25 The January meeting of the Color Country Retired Officers Club will be held Saturday, January 25, at the Banquet Room of Sullivans Cafe in Cedar City, with a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The program will be presented by LCDR Alger V. Bacanskas and Senior Chief Machinists's Mate Hershel Davis of the Salt Lake City Navy Recruiting Class "A" Station. Included will be a film, "Only the Strong", a documentary which reflects a comparison of the United States military readiness with other world powers. Membership in the Color Country Retired Officers Club is open to men and women who are, or have been, commissioned officers orwarrent officers in the uniformed services of the United States. Officers who have not yet joined the organization, along with wives or husbands, are invited to attend and should call Col. Earl A. Hanson. 586-6362, before January 25 to make their reservations. |
