Cedar City restaurants have provided dinners for the entire company, including an opening open-ing dinner sponsored by Michael's Mich-ael's Fine Foods and Dan Roberts Security Titles, and dinners by Ferdinand's, Bud's Desirata, and others. Members of the Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, and other community organizations yearly attend the Festival as a group. "Cedar City and Iron County residents have added immeasurably immea-surably to the success of the twelfth annual Utah Shakespearean Shake-spearean Festival," has been the sentiment expressed by Festival officials as the season draws to a close this week. "Even before the season began, be-gan, these loyal people were making their very helpful and appreciated contribution, and they have continued energetically energeti-cally through the season to give their support," said Fred C. Adams, Festival founder. "It would be impossible to name everyone from this area who has helped," Mr. Adams said, "But we wish to find some way to thank all of these wonderful friends." Mr. Adams and his staff said that the Festival is particularly par-ticularly grateful to the Utah Shakespearean Festival Guild whose members provide an opening night reception and extend ex-tend their hospitality to the Festival company in many ways. Also cited were the scholar- Mr. Adams said that those who travel from other areas to participate in the Festival company have been sincerely impressed by the magnitude of the support given the Festival by local residents. |
