Show Enoch v and Mjt Midvalley (H By Veda Matheson ENOCH & MIDVALLEY -Mr. and Mrs. David Wankier and son Michael visited here with Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Matheson. The Wankiers live in Monticello. Mr. and Mrs. Clint Matheson have a new baby boy born last week at the Valley View Medical Center. This makes four boys for Clint and Jo. Proud grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson and Mrs. Edna Bott. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson were in Bountiful the latter part of last week to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bishop. Also proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Wood. They have a new pair of twins, a boy and a girl born last week at the Valley View Medical Center. Neighbors were saddened last week by the death of Mr. Roy Maclnder. Mr. and Mrs. Maclnder moved to this area a few years ago and have many friends here. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Richardson made a trip to Arizona to visit with their children. They returned last week and were accompanied by their daughter Mrs. Eloa Battraw and children, who will visit while her husband George is at National Guard Camp. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Heaton were in Salt Lake last week where Glendon had a check up with his doctor. The Justin Gray family have had family visitors at their house. Justin's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gray and four children were here from Midland, Taxas, and Noreen's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baker and three children were here from Blithe, Calif. Mrs. Myrna Grimshaw made a trip to Tropic to take daughters Lori and Linda to visit with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Shakespear and brought back the twins, Shelly and Kelly, who have spent the past week there. Robert Halterman stopped to visit with Mrs. Barbara Adams and the F.H. Grimshaws. He is a native of . Parowan and lives in Calif, where he teaches at Stanford University. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch and family were here to visit w ith Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw. They live in Monticello. Recent visitors to this area were Dr. and Mrs. Ray Fife and family of Arizona and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hines of Texas and their daughter Kathy who teaches school in California. Dr. Fife and Mrs. Hines are the children of the late Arthur Fife. They visited with Mr. and Mrs Carl Fife and made a trip down through the Narrows with Otto Fife. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fife made a trip to Salt Lake recently to take their grandson Larry to meet his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Fife who were there from Casper, Wyo. The people who live in the Spanish Trails subdivision had a party on Sat. evening of last week to honor two families who are leaving. The Bill Taylor family is moving to Salt Lake City, and the Duane Atwood family is moving to Portland, Por-tland, Ore. Mrs. Lois Olds spent last week in Salt Lake working at the Genealogy library. Her mother, Mrs. AGnes Henroid returned home with her after visiting the Manti Pageant and with relatives in Salt Lake. |
